Wrexham
Lager Badminton Club has been in existence for many years. Since the demise of the old Wrexham
Lager Brewery the number of members from that source has diminished
and only one of our current members used to work at "The
Lager". The rest come from a variety of backgrounds and will
always give a warm welcome to new members.
We welcome
new members of either sex or of any age provided that you have played before..
We play on three courts every
Monday evening at The Gwyn Evans Swimming Pool/Sports Complex
in Gwersyllt. from 7.30pm to approx. 9.5pm.
The
cost at present is .£100 per year and is paid in two installments
of £50. There are no other costs.
The club is
run on a friendly social basis and we have many laughs together.
We do not compete in any Badminton Leagues.
